During the summer of 2005, I interned at Yahoo! as a Visual Designer and continued to work with Yahoo! after my internship as a Contractor. I was responsible for the design and creation of a self-serving Finance Image Library wherein images accompany online content. Major milestones of this project included research of users and existing tools, development of requirements and taxonomy, selected, sized, cropped, and optimized images, created project scope and prototypes, uploaded images and pushed to servers. I also developed Style Guides, assisted with other projects, like the Columnist and Health's Blog for Hope, and participated in an ethnographic study session and design research brainstorming workshop.
