Since graduating from the Institute of Design, I was an Adjunct Instructor and taught three semesters of Graphic Design at Northpark University. After teaching English in Italy when I studied abroad, I knew that teaching a night class was something I would really enjoy. I taught undergraduate students and really loved instructing the next generation of designers in regards to the fundamental elements and history of graphic design. With a full-time design job, the birth of our second children and my husband in law school, I was not able to continue to teach on a part-time basis. This is something I miss tremendously, but I cherish the time I taught and know I was able to make a difference in my students' studies.
